I just purchased a NYT subscription, is it worth it?
On top of the news, the subscription gets you access to the magazine, which is amazing, as well as other sections like books, travel, culture, etc, which are all fun reads. The NYT also has some bomb games — connections, wordle, and the crossword are all legitimately really fun, I play them almost daily. So, my opinion, yes, NYT is worth having.

Dec 15, 2023 · I do like spelling bee, so I may go for it. $25 for the year is decent (although cheap me would have preferred $20). I’d say the subscription is only worth it if you want to try doing the crossword. I did start off doing just connections and wordle and have since started doing the crossword which I enjoy a ton.
