The “Open Book” author is back on the market after announcing in January that she and Johnson had separated after 10 years of marriage.

Simpson later opened up about her love life while speaking to People. “ I don’t know why my heart gets tossed around, but I’m one of the lucky ones,” she said. “At least I have my children, and I still have Eric. He’s still very much a part of my life and always will be.”
