Jonathan Joss' husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, shared a statement a day after the 'King of the Hill' star was fatally shot at his property in San Antonio, Texas during a dispute with a neighbor. Gonzales claimed he and Joss had been facing "years of threats" due to their sexuality and the shooting came after a spew of "violent homophobic slurs.

“I shot him,” Ceja told police, according to an incident report.

After the shooting, Joss’s husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, alleged that the slaying was fueled by LGBTQ+ bias.
