Taylor Swift Buys Her Early Master Recordings

Taylor Swift can finally call her first six albums her own. The pop diva lost the rights to these records to Scooter Braun in 2019. A year later, he sold them to Shamrock Capital, a firm which has granted the singer's years-old dream of owning these albums without any catch.
Taylor Swift is now the proud owner of her entire catalog of music, roughly six years after she protested the sale of her master recordings by her former record label.
Taylor Swift wrote, in part, while announcing she bought her masters: "All of the music I've ever made... now belongs... to me."
