Justin Fields returned to practice drills on Saturday, just 48 hours after he limped off the field with a dislocated toe. Fields eased back in by joining 7-on-7 drills Saturday, but coach Aaron Glenn says he’ll take a cautious approach with the Jets’ starting quarterback when it comes participating in full 11-on-11 drills.
Fields took part in individual, position drills and 7-on-7 play during Saturday’s practice. The Jets are not rushing to put Fields in full team competition because they don’t want anyone stepping on his right foot. Fields left practice on a cart Thursday after suffering a dislocated toe.
