Chandigarh: After the historic victory in the state of Haryana, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has formed its government in Haryana for the third consecutive time. Former CM and BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini took the oath as the Chief Minister on Thursday. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath.

Besides PM Modi and Amit Shah, several Union ministers including Rajnath Singh and JP Nadda, chief ministers of many states will attend the oath-taking event amid tight security.

In the recent Haryana assembly elections, BJP returned to power for a third consecutive term, securing an absolute majority in the 90-member assembly.

Nayab Singh Saini will take oath later today in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders. Saini is set to be the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second term after he was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP legislature party on Wednesday in Panchkula.

OBC leader Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday took oath as the chief minister of Haryana at a ceremony in Panchkula attended by a galaxy of NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Saini took oath in Hindi.
