Alex Vindman, a retired Army officer who emerged as a central figure in President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, is entering Florida’s high-stakes U.S. Senate race.

Florida’s farmers are planting seeds of support for U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody’s campaign. The Florida Farm Bureau Federation’s FedPAC announced a formal endorsement for the Plant City Republican, citing Moody’s “strong and effective leadership on behalf of Florida agriculture.”

Democratic state Rep. Angie Nixon has announced her candidacy for the Florida U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Ashley Moody in the 2026 election.
