The mother of Xana Kernodle, one of the four people killed in Mosco, Idaho, in 2022, wants to attend Brian Kohberger's murder trial this summer in Boise.

Attorneys for a man accused of killing four University of Idaho students have asked that his trial be delayed.

Any conviction and sentence resulting from a capital trial beginning in August 2025 will be unconstitutionally imposed and, therefore, vulnerable to reversal on direct or collateral review,” Kohberger’s defense attorneys wrote.
