Liam Delap has revealed that he chose to join Chelsea this summer because of his desire to win trophies. The striker moved to Stamford Bridge from Ipswich on Wednesday after the Blues activated the £30million release clause in his contract.

Liam Delap has reportedly opted to play for Chelsea at the Club World Cup rather than compete at the Under-21 European Championship for England. The striker put pen to paper on a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge earlier this week in a deal worth £30million.

Chelsea, who will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, cut its first tape in the summer transfer market. The 22-year-old rookie striker Liam Delap, who played for Ipswich Town, is in his arms. Chelsea announced on the 5th (Korea time) that it will recruit Delap.
