Grand Rapids jury continues to deliberate in murder trial of former officer Schurr
A west Michigan jury continues to meet as they decide a verdict in the murder trial of Christopher Schurr, a former Grand Rapids police officer. Demonstrators have gathered outside the court house, some supporting Schurr but many calling for justice for Patrick Lyoya, who Schurr fatally shot in April 2022.
