A year after failing to sign a Dallas-area player, Florida flipped the script Monday by securing a commitment from one of the DFW’s top athletes. Frisco Lone Star’s Davian Groce announced his pledge to the Gators on X.

Receiver Davian Groce (6-1, 190, Frisco, TX., Lone Star) committed to Florida over Oklahoma and Baylor on Monday. Groce took an official visit to Gainesville back in June, and it was during that visit that the Gators really caught his attention.
