A “friendly” dog got lost as Hurricane Milton slammed Florida — then came a heartwarming reunion. Photos from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay show the pup couldn’t contain herself when she finally saw her owner again.

The pooch was left on the side of I-75, with a third of his body submerged in water, just hours before Hurricane Milton made landfall. A rescue organization said the dog was stressed but recovering.
