Harvey Elliott’s future as a Liverpool player has only been cast in more doubt by his feats for England at the U21 Euros.

Harvey Elliott is planning on making the most of his time off before linking back up with Liverpool, when he looks set to face a big decision on his future. The 22-year-old has put his frustrations surrounding the lack of game time afforded to him back at Anfield firmly behind him this summer after playing a starring role in England defending its UEFA European U21 Championship crown.

Elliott opened the scoring in style in the fifth minute when picking up a loose ball on the edge of the Germany penalty area and firing a smart finish into the bottom corner. The ex- Fulham star also played a key role in the Three Lions’ second with an excellent pass, and his performance was another which caught the eye.
