India and Pakistan on Saturday reached an understanding to stop all military actions on land, in the air and at the sea, in a U.S.-brokered ceasefire.

Life returned to normalcy across the region and it was business as usual after India and Pakistan halted military action though a bilateral ‘understanding’.

A ceasefire to end the conflict between India and Pakistan was shaken by overnight border fighting in the disputed Kashmir region. People on both sides of the Line of Control, which divides the territory,
