Ball security and a lack of big plays were trouble spots for Kyren Williams last season, but he worked hard this summer to improve in both areas.

One year ago this week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered camp with an offensive backfield consisting of a crafty veteran quarterback, a workhorse fourth-year running back and a rookie fourth-round draft pick.

The Rams have a capable backup QB, Jimmy Garoppolo. He has a 43-21 starting record in the regular season in 11 years with the San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots and Rams. Garoppolo, however, is injury-prone. He has battled foot, ankle, knee and shoulder issues over the course of his career.

Ever since Sean McVay burst onto the scene and worked his magic, he’s been one of the NFL’s best head coaches. The Los Angeles Rams have seven winning seasons and a Super Bowl title in eight years under their current leadership.
