The Pittsburgh Pirates will have one of their rookies make their first MLB start in their next game. The Pirates announced that they will have rookie right-handed pitcher Braxton Ashcraft make his first MLB start against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field on June 23.

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has had quite the start to his Major League career. The 23-year-old tossed five hitless innings in his MLB debut on June 12 and took a perfect game into the seventh inning in his second start on Friday.

Jacob Misiorowski became the first MLB starter since 1900 to begin a career with 11 consecutive no-hit innings after he flirted with a perfect game on Friday.
