The Nets announced prior to Friday's tipoff that forward Cam Johnson and guard Ben Simmons were ruled out despite both playing and finishing Thursday's win. Granted, Simmons will be missing Friday's contest due to his lower back injury management program while Johnson is missing the game due to a right hip contusion that he most likely suffered from hitting the ground following his dunk on Bucks center Brook Lopez.

Ben Simmons finished with eight points, four rebounds, nine assists and one steal while shooting 4/9 from the field in 28 minutes of playing time. Many fans reacted to his performance on social media.
