COLUMBUS — Ohio State will not be required to release a pregame availability report before its College Football Playoff semifinal round matchup with Texas. That info is based on a Big Ten spokesperson telling Blue-White Illustrated that Penn State won’t have to submit one for the Orange Bowl semifinal against Notre Dame.

It has been quite the ride through two games in the College Football Playoff for Ohio State with complete and total domination against Tennessee and Oregon. After the poor performance to end the season, some may have had a sliver of hope that the Buckeyes could make a run, but nobody could have seen this coming.

That wouldn’t be a big deal, but Ohio State and Texas are slated to face each other on Friday night at the Cotton Bowl, which will be played at the very much domed AT&T Stadium.
