Boston sports talk radio host and former New England Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak said Friday that it is possible the Pats could release wide receiver Stefon Diggs before he ever plays a down for the team.

Stefon Diggs was introduced to New England as one of the biggest signings of the NFL offseason, inking a three-year deal worth up to $63.5 million, per Spotrac. Instead, as the offseason moved into late May, Diggs found himself at the center of a media storm.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said the team was "aware" of the video involving Stefon Diggs earlier this week.
