A 49-year-old Richardson woman has been arrested for a high-profile Dec. 10 hit-and-run accident involving a child, according to Plano police. The incident gained attention after a video appeared on social media.

A 49-year-old Richardson woman was arrested Thursday in connection with the hit-and-run of a child earlier this month in Plano that was caught on camera, police say. Zulma Beltran was being held in the Plano jail and is facing a collision involving personal injury charge, according to a news release. It’s not immediately clear if she has a lawyer.
