Per Deadline, Lionsgate’s Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping has cast Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee. You might remember the character as the future Head Gamemaker and rebel played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman (who happened to star as Plemons’s on-screen dad in The Master).

Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons ( Breaking Bad, Fargo ) has been cast as Plutarch Heavensbee in Lionsgate’s  The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping , its adaptation of the bestselling book by Suzanne Collins.

Casting for Sunrise on the Reaping keeps on a-coming. The next star to join the latest Hunger Games movie is Jesse Plemons, recently of Civil War and Black Mirror.
