Extreme heat warnings are also proliferating through northern Arizona. It won’t take much for even a small fire to grow out of control. As a result a red flag warning was issued for areas of the Navajo Nation as temperatures and wind speeds increased.

Warnings have been issued in Washington, California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Colorado amid critical fire weather conditions.
