Metaphor: ReFantazio, the newest game out of Japanese video game company Atlus’ Studio Zero, owes a lot to the Persona games that came before it. From the mind of longtime Persona designer Katsura Hashino, it’s a sprawling role-playing game that combines dungeon crawling with social sim elements, using a daily calendar to dictate your progress.

More's quests in Metaphor: ReFantazio will prioritize finding and unlocking new families of Archetypes along with leveling them up to help players branch out and see what all is out there. While a lot of Archetypes are unlocked naturally by progressing the story, some can be missed if you don't know where to look.

Alonzo, or "Cuculus" as you'll first come to know him, will grant you usage of the Faker Archetype in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

You'll occasionally find weapons and armor that can be purified in Metaphor: ReFantazio, but you'll need to unlock this feature before you can use it.

Elmenta are special enemies that drop a lot of MAG and Reeve when defeated, but catching these elusive blobs is deceptively hard.

Catherina unlocks the Brawler Archetype and features one of Metaphor: ReFantazio's most touching personal storylines.
