Michigan quarterback Davis Warren suffered a torn ACL in the team’s ReliaQuest Bowl win over Alabama on Tuesday. Warren, who limped off the field in the third quarter of the Wolverines’ 19-13 victory in Tampa, Fla., revealed the injury diagnosis on Saturday in a post on social media.

Michigan football jumped out to an early lead against Alabama in the ReliaQuest bowl thanks to the defense causing turnover after turnover, but the offense couldn't quite get enough going to push the lead out of the Crimson Tide's reach.

The Michigan football QB room is going to have a lot more talent next year with freshman phenom Bryce Underwood and Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene joining the program. Head coach Sherrone Moore has noted that he really hopes Warren is back next year as well.
