Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride has been named to the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game as a replacement player for Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, the league announced Tuesday. McBride, who was selected by WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert, will take Howard's spot on Team Collier, led by her Lynx teammate, Napheesa Collier.

So when it comes to replacing Howard, Engelbert has to make the right choice here and select Sykes. Slim deserves an All-Star spot. That it has to come at the expense of Howard is a real bummer, but the WNBA commissioner has to rectify the situation and give Sykes the spot that she deserves.
