Willy Adames drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning against his former team to complete a three-run comeback as the Giants defeated the Brewers, 6-5, on Thursday afternoon at Oracle Park to take three of four games from Milwaukee.

Adames spent the past four seasons in Milwaukee, receiving MVP votes twice and leading the Brewers to three postseason appearances, but hasn’t lived up to that play through 22 games with the Giants. He entered the series batting .202 with a .554 OPS, five extra-base hits, nine walks and 26 strikeouts in 99 trips to the plate.

San Fransisco Giants shortstop Willy Adames may be missing his old home but he is most certainly an after-thought for his former club.
