Paul Mullin has given an insight into what really happened at Wrexham before his recent exit from the club. Back in 2021, Mullin opted to leave Cambridge United and sign for Wrexham. Since then, the Englishman has scored 110 goals in 172 appearances for the Red Dragons.

Wigan Athletic have signed Wrexham striker – and cult hero among fans - Paul Mullin on loan for the forthcoming 2025-26 season. The 30-year-old has scored 110 goals in 170 games in all competitions for the Welsh club since joining in the summer of 2021.

Mullin, who had been Wrexham’s player of the season in each of the three previous years, was only a bit-part performer when the team won promotion to the second tier last season.
