A former employee of the Bergen County Department of Parks was arrested and charged with stealing equipment from the county, officials said.

Three teenagers—including two from Bergen County and one from the Bronx—have been charged in connection with hoax shooting threats that forced lockdowns at two New Jersey schools, authorities said. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Threat Management Unit was notified on Thursday,
