Two people were killed early Sunday when the car in which they were traveling crashed into a support column under the Eisenhower Expressway on the Near West Side and caught fire.

A high-speed car chase that involved a man and a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent on Wednesday ended with a multi-car crash outside Nina’s Coffee Cafe in St. Paul. The man was transported to a hospital in an ambulance covered by a sheet.

One person was injured in the crash, and responders took them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
