Flash flood, severe thunderstorm warning issued for New Castle County
A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly at 11:32 a.m. on Friday, May 16. This warning applies to New Castle, DE, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Salem, Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
On Wednesday at 3:54 p.m. a coastal flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 9 p.m. until Thursday midnight for Burlington County.
Storms are likely to start developing shortly after 4pm and will continue to grow in coverage and intensity into the evening.
