GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Greenville County clerk of court will be retiring on June 30. Paul B. Wickensimer has served as clerk of court for 23 years.

Greenville County Clerk of Court Paul B. Wickensimer will retire Friday, June 30, after 23 years in his position, according to a press release issued Wednesday.

Greenville County Clerk of Court Jay Gresham, who took office earlier this month, said the issue was a lack of people: they sent out 161 jury summons and only 59 people showed up at the courthouse.
