ICICI Bank hikes minimum monthly average balance in metro savings accounts by 400% to Rs 50,000 from Aug 1 for new customers

ICICI Bank has announced a revision to its minimum balance requirements for savings accounts opened on or after August 1, 2025 for metros and urban areas to Rs 50,000. It was earlier Rs 10,000.
