ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — An airplane made an emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Airport around 2:15 p.m., a spokesperson said.
Officials say the plane took off from the airport, turned around and made an emergency landing in a field.
The spokesperson said the airport is responding to an "Alert 2" incident that caused the plane to divert.
