A 19-year-old is recovering after being stabbed twice at a Salem-area park on Monday afternoon, and police are asking for help in finding a suspect.

A 19-year-old man was at the park and then approached by a stranger, who police said stabbed him twice then ran away.

Salem Police are searching for a man who stabbed a 19-year-old man earlier this month at Highland Park. At about 3:30 p.m. on March 3, the 19-year-old was sitting on a bench at the north Salem park talking to another person when an unknown man approached him and stabbed him twice,
