A major winter storm is set to bring significant snow and wind to parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin this weekend.
A widespread blizzard bringing potentially historic snowfall amounts is still on track to hit the UP from late tonight/early tomorrow morning into Monday night,” NWS meteorologists in Marquette said.
A massive snowstorm was expected to move into Minnesota late Saturday and early Sunday, and parts of the state — including the Twin Cities — could receive more than a foot of snow by the end of the weekend.
