SNL kicked off Season 51 with a wild cold open mocking Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump, and the state of the U.S. military.

Newcomers Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, Veronika Slowikowska and Ben Marshall are joining the SNL 51 cast, which will see the return of Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman, Marcello Hernández, James Austin Johnson, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.
