While a definitive update on Saka has yet to be shared by Arsenal, interim England boss Lee Carsley appears to have suggested that his injury is nothing serious after claiming that he would have been “close” to playing against Finland if he had stayed with the squad but did not want to take any risks.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka expects to full fitness in time for the side’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth this weekend. Saka suffered a hamstring injury in England’s 2-1 defeat to Greece in the Nations League, with the 23-year-old clearly in some discomfort as he was replaced by Chelsea’s Noni Madueke in the 51st minute at Wembley.
