Coastal Carolina University's Caden Bodine and Jacob Morrison were chosen during the MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles and Milwaukee Brewers, respectively.

The Orioles’ first three picks were Auburn catcher/corner outfielder Ike Irish (No. 19), Coastal Carolina catcher Caden Bodine (No. 30) and Wehiwa Aloy (No. 31). The No. 19 pick was the Orioles’ original first-round selection, while Nos. 30 and 31 were compensation for losing Corbin Burnes and Anthony Santander in free agency.

Haddon Heights’ Caden Bodine, who starred at Coastal Carolina, could be taken in the first round. But he won't be the only Philly area player to be drafted.
