The Philadelphia Flyers entered the 2025 NHL draft with 10 selections, including three in the first round and six in the first 50 picks.For the first time in its history, the annual entry draft is being held in a decentralized location — the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

There’s no doubt that the Flyers needed size. The active roster is listed at an average height of 6-1, but they drafted four players taller than that on Saturday. Some were a lot taller.

The 2025 NHL draft that took far too long has mercifully finished. Suffice to say, any of the 26 teams who voted for decentralization, you get a Z for that. Not an F, a Z. Let's never do that again. Back to centralization, please.
