NEW DELHI: An Air India Express flight carrying 144 passengers landed safely at Tiruchirappalli Airport in Tamil Nadu on Friday (Oct 11) evening following a mid-air scare caused by a technical glitch.
The flight IX613, that took off from Tiruchirappalli destined to Sharjah made the precautionary landing due to a technical snag. The airline clarified that this was not an emergency landing.
In a post on 'X', he said, "Many thanks to the Captain and the Co-Pilot for the safe landing of flight IX613 from Tiruchirappalli to Sharjah after the landing gear glitch.
"Flight IX613, operating between Tiruchirappalli and Sharjah on 31st July, made a precautionary landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.
