Seattle Mariners manager Dan Wilson says first baseman Josh Naylor left Thursday’s game against the Chicago White Sox in the third inning due to shoulder soreness.

Seattle Mariners slugger Josh Naylor exited Thursday's game against the visiting Chicago White Sox after he was seen grimacing during his at-bat in the third inning.

Although he is off to a hot start over his first 13 games with Seattle, Naylor’s momentum may be briefly halted. During Thursday’s game against the White Sox, Naylor was removed in the top of the fourth inning and replaced by teammate Donovan Solano.
