A new wildfire was reported today at 1:59 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.

A Bellflower woman was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend the same day she obtained a restraining order to keep him away from her and her son, who was also shot when the suspect burst into their

A California woman took out a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend the afternoon of Oct. 15. She was killed just after 11:30 p.m. that night.

A 59-year-old man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and injured her adult son just hours after she had obtained a restraining order against him, Los Angeles sheriff’s officials reported. The man broke into their Bellflower apartment and shot the 26-year-old son in the hip in his bedroom at about 11:30 p.

A 54-year-old mother who had filed a restraining order in Whittier against her ex-boyfriend was shot and killed that same day by him, according to authorities. Her son was also shot but is recovering.
