Republican Sen. Mike Lee is facing criticism over his social media posts about the assassination of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband-- with one Democratic senator calling the posts "reprehensible.

Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith said terminally online people like Mike Lee are used to saying “whatever the hell they feel like” without repercussions. She said Lee seemed “surprised” to be confronted about his tweets.
