The anti-Trump protests in Austin remained peaceful, despite a 'credible threat' that forced a brief evacuation of the Texas Capitol complex.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) -On June 14th, people across the United States took to the streets to peacefully protest in a movement called ‘No King Day’. Both Midland and Odessa held peaceful protests in the area.

Demonstrators gathered in communities large and small. Many events on the East Coast have ended, but police clashed with some protesters in L.A.

No Kings has identified on its website more than 1,800 cities nationwide, including about 70 in Michigan, where demonstrators are set to gather to express disapproval.

State legislators Selena LaRue Hatch, Erica Roth and Natha Anderson attended the event, with LaRue Hatch offering a speech addressing the assassination of a Democratic state legislator and the attempted assassination of another Saturday in Minnesota.
