DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) — Cracking ice left nearly a dozen people stranded near Sturgeon Bay on Friday afternoon, WBAY reported . According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the ice cracked about 30 feet wide near Snake Island Road. Initially, 11 people were stuck on the other side, but as of 4 p.m. six of those people were rescued.
