Russia fired 597 drones and decoys, along with 26 cruise missiles, into Ukraine overnight into Saturday, Ukraine's air force said.

Hundreds of Russian attack drones and more than two dozen cruise missiles targeted Ukraine overnight, killing at least two people, Ukraine said.

A 25-year-old man was injured in the city of Samar, Dnipropetrovsk region, following a Russian drone strike. The attack also caused significant damage, informs Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that Russia launched 597 drones and 26 missiles, killing two people, wounding 20, and damaging civilian infrastructure from Kharkiv and Sumy in the northeast to Lviv, Lutsk, and Chernivtsi in the west.
