The dean of Georgetown University Law Center on Thursday rebuked a threat from the acting US attorney in Washington, DC, that he would not hire the law school’s students if it does not remove diversity,

The school's dean argues the First Amendment "guarantees that the government cannot direct what Georgetown and its faculty teach and how to teach it."

Dean William Treanor said Acting U.S. Attorney Ed Martin's threat to blacklist students if the school didn't stop teaching DEI was a clear First Amendment violation.
