Detroit’s Thanksgiving tradition continued with a hard-fought 31-24 loss to Green Bay, leaving fans frustrated but grateful for Lions football.

As it stands, the Lions remain on the outside of the playoff picture. They're eighth in the NFC, meaning they sit just one spot outside of the seven-team playoff field. In the NFC North, they are in third place behind the Green Bay Packers (8-4-1) and the Chicago Bears (9-3), which currently hold the top seed.

The Detroit Lions secondary heard talk about the Green Bay Packers potentially putting up big numbers and spoke up themselves after pulling out a win.

The Lions were able to pull back within three prior to the halftime break, as Jameson Williams broke a tackle on a screen pass and dashed 22 yards to the end zone. With Amon-Ra St. Brown exiting the game in the first quarter and not returning, Williams stepped up big time with seven grabs for 144 yards.
