ST. LOUIS – The winter weather on Monday had been in the forecast for several days. However, predictions consistently indicated that snow would begin later in the day and peak after the evening rush hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for McLean County portions of eight states from late Friday through 6 a.m. Sunday. The weather service says the Bloomington-Normal area is likely to receive at least six inches of snow.
