A popular barbecue restaurant is expanding in the metro area. Saw's BBQ is coming to the well-traveled Highway 31 corridor in Hoover.

Saw's BBQ, which began in Homewood in 2009, plans to open its fourth Birmingham-area restaurant in the former Fat Sam's Sub Station space near the UAB campus.

A local barbecue chain is opening its fourth location in the Magic City. AL.com reports Saw's BBQ is opening a restaurant in the former Fat Sam's Sub Station location at 1154 11th Ave. South.
